What AiME has taught me

We speak with AiME to test the product and experiment with self-therapy.

The process has resulted in personal discoveries:

1. A minor shift in perspective does result in a major improvement in mood. I kept referring to my “problems” in my AiME videos. In retrospect, I saw those weren’t really problems... rather, I had a whiny outlook towards very solvable challenges. I now see life’s speed bumps as riddles to solve... opportunities to learn.

2. Advice from yourself hits the hardest. No matter who it is, how trustworthy, or how qualified, no advice is as well-received as when it came from me.

3. I uncover useful ideas when I was able to speak both privately and extemporaneously (e.g. putting my phone in a different room at bedtime).
